1000 Gifts: A little bit of June

Come, Thou fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise his Name,
I'm fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy redeeming love.

Counting His blessings... one at a time.
Truly, His mercies are new every morning!

0544
one brother teaching another

0545
and the last few math lessons... DONE!

0546
test results in hand... their amazing accomplishments

0547
and the celebration that follows... their job well done

0548
yes, proud mama moments... too many to count

0549
and this heart-tugging sweetness... her very first "paint"

0550
summer vacation, just a stone's throw away

0551
filled with afternoons at the pool and our best pals, too

0552
a chance to bake bread with a very good friend

0553
and flowers on the porch... the outside brought in

0554
a plastic harmonica, sweet melodies galore

0555
yes, her little girl music from morning 'til night

0556
time with her "Momom" and a big bucket of peas

0557
and backyard excitement... our veggies-- they're growing!

0558
reading success & a chance to fly solo... my 5-year tyke with his nose in a book

0559
haircuts and... individuality!

0560
his gentle reminder, "Mom, it WILL grow back."

0561
motherhood-- I simply can't count it enough

0562
and the joy that comes with raising little men

0563
his boldness to proclaim the Truth that sets him free

0564
God's grace upon grace... His mercies every morning

"I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonders.

I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High."

Psalm 9:1-2

holy experience

I love these little glimpses into your heart and life Heather. It is so lovely to see how you cherish those moments.
I love the haircuts. Just think what time-savers (not to mention shampoo-savers) they are!

I love the fingers and toes. I never get tired of staring at the dimples that little one's have in place of bony knuckles!
