Apples!

Markham, Virginia

... one of our favorite fall fieldtrips.

We went last year with Big Man's preschool class,
and I think we even went the year prior.
And just the other week we coaxed Grandmom into joining us for this year's venture.
We picked apples right off the trees and we tasted a few beauties right then and there.
And then we brought our goodies home to enjoy in the days and weeks to come.

We've already devoured our first batch of apple crisp...
I'm sure it won't be our last :)

Your kiddos have to have the sweetest faces! Really, they are all four so cute!

These are great pictures of another beautiful place. It looks like fall is in full swing up there! ;)

I'm still enjoying my apples too, plus the squirrels have not found the big pumpkin yet! The deer have had a treat(small as it may be) of bigger things to come with the little pumpkin! Love to all, see you soon, Gmom
