A matter of trust

All too often, I hit a bump in the road.
Occasionally, I get tossed a curve ball that I don't quite know how to handle.
Every once in a while, I struggle to believe that I really will survive until bedtime.
And then sometimes, I just need to be reminded (and thus find peace in my trials) of who's really in charge...

"The LORD is my strength and my shield;
 my heart trusts in Him and I am helped.
 My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song."
  Psalm 28:7

"I will say of the LORD,
'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.' "
Psalm 91:2

" 'I love Thee, O LORD, my strength.'
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
 my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
 I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised,
 and I am saved from my enemies."
Psalm 18:1-3

"God is our refuge and strength,
 a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear..."
 Psalm 46:1

"Be still and know that I am God..."
Psalm 46:10

"Find rest, O my soul, in God alone,
 for my hope is from Him.
 He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold;
 I shall not be shaken.
 On God my salvation and my glory rest;
 the rock of my strength, my refuge is God.
 Trust in Him at all times, O people;
 pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us."
Psalm 62: 5-8

"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast,
 because he trusts in You."
 Isaiah 26:3

"In that day they will say,
 'Surely this is our God; we trusted in Him and He saved us.
This is the LORD; we trusted in Him.
 Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.' "
Isaiah 25:9

"For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize
with our weaknesses,
 but one who has been tempted in all things as we are,
 yet without sin.
  Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace,
 that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need."
Hebrews 4:15-16

"The LORD's lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
for His compassions never fail.
 They are new every morning;
Great is Thy faithfulness."
Lamentations 2:22-23

"For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Heb 4:15-16
