1000 Gifts: Motherhood

Motherhood~

There's nothing I'd rather do, there's nothing I'd rather be, there's nowhere I'd rather go.
Because being here with my family-- this good and perfect gift from my heavenly Father--
being God's work-in-progress sort of mom... that's my highest calling.

So after a beautiful day... a perfect day with them,
I give thanks to the One who made it all possible~

0479
the four treasures who call me Mom

0480
bear hugs and kisses

0481
handmade gifts... their labors of love

0482
"I thank Jesus for blessing me with you!" sketched on his card in pink

0483
a RED gatorade from Big Man... "because red's [my] favorite color!"

0484
a very thoughtful gift-- wrapped in Charmin (clean!) because they couldn't find the tissue paper

0485
Hubby's efforts to get us all to smile at the same time... and look at the camera

0486
hands to hold, a child in my lap

0487
lunch with Les and her crew... more family

0488
scooter races around the block

0489
Daddy slowing down so that I could catch up :)

0490
"hot lava" at the park... the six of us playing in the sunshine

0491
ice cream sundaes with hot fudge and a cherry on top

0492
together

0493
the everyday... with them

0494
and of course, great gifts from above-- my mama and Chris's-- my encouragers, my supporters, my role models... their motherly love

"All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother."

--Abraham Lincoln

holy experience

and the list continues...

Hurray! Everyone is looking at the end. Awesome! Thanks for being such a mentor mom to me... you do a lovely job in showing and instructing me how to lead my little ones in the fear and admonition of the Lord... iron sharpens iron sister! Happy Mother's Day - a little late! Sounded like you had a great day!

Certainly our God looks upon your little clan and smiles.

yay! It sounds like you had a most blessed day... and I get the idea that it is not a day that necessarily outshines others, it sounds like your days are filled with blessing! You have a beautiful family. You are truly blessed :)
